Very beautiful course, green condiction was perfect👍👍👍 and thanks everyone for your hospitality 🫶 …
I don't know why there are any 1 star reviews for this course. It is absolutely excellent and easy to understand why it's top 40 in Australia. The tee spots create some dramatic views across the beautiful terrain. Every fairway forces you to think, we often teed off with 5 iron or less to avoid bunkers and hazards. Greens were hard and fast after a low rain winter.
Yes the course is tough, but it's also a lot of fun. Grab some beers, an Esky and enjoy the round.
Amazing golf course! Presents beautifully!!! I'm not goung to lie, it is a tricky course but so much fun. It was also very fairly priced in mu opinion as well. Definitely worth getting out on and having a game!
Worst Ceasar salad I've had since McDonald's started selling one. Small lunch menu, nothing inspiring but no well done classics either. Give this place a miss.
Over priced for a public course with no Marshall to be seen. Was a member and now came back to play a social round and again slowest round of my life. Come on new management team, if you increased membership fee and made "joining fee" instead of feeding yourself with higher wage; invest it back to the course and staffs with proper training. It's actually becoming a joke; so glad that no longer a member here and will not come back.
We took the day off work to make this a special memorable experience. We arrived 90min before tee off. It all first started when the restaurant was closed for renovation and only a bar menu was available. No information on the website regarding the restaurant being closed. The bar menu only had 5 items for lunch. We asked for the squid and of coarse they didn’t have any. Surprisingly the Angus burger with chips was fantastic. So it should be, you are at the prestigious Brookwater Golf Club. 1st tee had 4 groups waiting, we teed off 20min late. The play was extremely slow, it took 2hrs and 35mim for 9 holes. My partner on some holes didn’t even putt as she felt pressured of people constantly behind her. We waited 5-7 min per tee off and also minutes in between fairway shots. The coarse was in average condition, so many divots, scuffed fairways, greens not lush nor some fairways. Also some tee boxes were in average condition too. Some bunkers were also completely under renovation, with active excavators. We were not informed of this. All other bunkers were stunning. Due to the very slow play, we decided to finish up and asked for a refund for 9 holes. This was declined and we were referred to the GM for feedback. When the pro shop acknowledged very slow play, I then asked where is the coarse Marshall, surprisingly He said we don’t have one. How can this so called prestigious club not have a coarse Marshall, it’s so bizarre. Considering the over expensive cost of this coarse, $115 per person, excessive groups booked, it’s average condition and poor customer service, I will never come back again to play here.
Brookwater Golf course. Played it for the first time and last. The hilly terrain, the over bunkered greens were not to the liking of us four golfers. Admittedly the designer didn't have much to work with.
Mountain goat country. A local resident told us he didn't renew his membership for the same reasons.
Beautiful golf course, awesome set out - Greg Norman did good!! Fast greens, huge bunkers & water hazards a plenty. Don't hit off the fairways, I was looking for a ball & a huge black snake was sunning itself in the long grass/weeds. Great golf carts with GPS screens to know how far you are from the pin. Very up & down, sometimes you need to be a mountain goat. But totally loved playing here🏌♀️🏌🏼🙌💚
